It might actually be spring already in Oslo! Today was so warm, we sat down in the park with no jacket on. I’m literally flabbergasted. But this happens every year. The winter is so long and dreary and then suddenly – Spring!
I have way too many leather jackets, and they all sort of look similar.
I’m really into the biker and the bomber, and I’ll have them in any color and pattern. Actually, I’m not really a pattern kind of guy, but I’ll go for a patterned one occasionally on stage, as I feel that’s more appropriate.
Above you can see my three favorite biker jackets.
And my favorite bomber jackets.
But this must for sure be my favorite leather (faux fur) jacket of all time:
I occasionally get to do other things than sitting in a studio or going on tour. These days, because I’m finishing my album, I’m pretty much stuck in the studio, but that also means staying in one plays for a while – for once. That also means I get to do something different before, or after studio time. Today, I went and had breakfast with one of the most inspiring personalities in the Scandinavian fashion industry, Johan Lindeberg.
Lindeberg started out with his own brand, J. Lindeberg. This was immensely popular when I was in my teens. Then Lindeberg took off from J. Lindeberg, and went on to start BLK DNM, my absolute favorite brand for leather jackets.
Thanks to Mildh Press for organizing such a great fashion breakfast at The Thief Hotel, and thank you Johan Lindeberg for continuing being you and being an inspiration. (Also thank you for regramming my picture on Instagram)
It might only be January still, but I’ve already invested a little in my spring wardrobe. I got this pink sweatshirt at Weekday right before New Years, and I’m really feeling it! I’d never thought I’d bring back the pinks in my closet (had an unfortunate pink period in my teens), but I feel like I might go after some more pink pieces now that I’ve tried it on again.
Here in Norway there is a award show called P3 Gull. They are a younger and more fun kind of award show, and it’s always good fun to be a part of it. I went to the show with my girlfriend for the first time, and we were lucky enough to walk the red carpet. J. Lindeberg, a swedish brand, was kind enough to dress me for the event, and this blue velvet tux jacket is the coolest thing I’ve seen for a while. I’m pretty sure it’ll be my go-to jacket for the holiday parties.
