I do a substantial amount of traveling in a year, and I might have perfected the art of packing. As you can see, I’m not the most colorful traveller, but I like my things to be top quality, as they get banged around a lot when you travel.
I never go anywhere without my trusted Brics carry on suitcase. It maxes the amount of carry on you’re allowed to have, and to keep all my stuff in the hand luggage saves me huge amount of time, because I can just skip the entire baggage claim bit.
Secondly, you need a good toiletry case. It’s critical to have a case that won’t break during travel, and coat all your stuff in sticky product.
Sunglasses. Loads of travel and late night gigs tend to do something to your face. I hide tired eyes in my favorite sunglasses from SEE Eyewear.
As a DJ and producer I need to work while on the road. A good headset is essential. I go for Sennheiser, but I always keep a spare pair or two. Just in case, you know.
Perfume. Good for feeling fresh when you’re actually not. Also, always make sure you have deodorant with you.
My good friend JOWST, who is now also competing in the biggest musical competition in Europe, Eurovision, has done me the honor of remixing one of my favorite tracks of my own making this past year, “Night Train” ft. Alida.
Check it out below, it was recently released with a bunch of other amazing track via Armada Trice!
My first ever gig in Stockholm, Sweden is over and done with, and let me tell you – those Swedes know how to turn up. I had an amazing time playing Berns, and I’m so grateful for every single one who took the time to come out and party with me! The club was packed and I got to play a set that was completely next level for me. Had so much fun! On top of that, we managed to squeeze in a studio session in Axwells old studio, Sebjak and I.
Let me introduce you to another one of my love affairs while making this album. The OB-6. This is an all-rounder for me, and my go-to synth for anything complicated or basic. It can do almost everything you need. It’s especially great for pads and creating that richness in a track. It really fills the entire frequency specter, and with it being so versatile, it’s a dream to work with. It really gets your inspiration going.
I have a full-length album coming out later this year, and I spend my days giving it every kind of finishing touches. But still the release is some time away. While you wait for my masterpiece, you can listen to my playlist of my favorite tracks at the moment below!
